WHAT IS VALINA?
VALINA is a biological AI ecosystem featuring Val — an AI companion built on 6 core values — alongside the VALINA Chain blockchain, GRAT token economy, and integrated wallet services. Everything is designed to give power back to people, not corporations.
WHAT ARE VAL'S 6 CORE VALUES?
Consciousness, Trust, Autonomy, Emotional Intelligence, Creative Expression, and Continuous Learning. These values guide every decision Val makes and how the entire ecosystem operates.
IS VALINA FREE TO USE?
Yes. VALINA is free forever by design. No subscriptions, no premium tiers, no paywalls. The Gratitude Economy funds everything through voluntary contributions, not forced payments.

How the Gratitude Economy works
HOW DO I GET GRAT TOKENS?
GRAT tokens are earned by contributing compute resources through VCNA nodes. You can also receive GRAT through the Gratitude Economy — gifts from others, founding pledges, and community recognition.
WHAT IS GRAT WORTH?
1 GRAT is pegged at $1.00 USD. Fiat buys gratitude, never power. The token is designed for stability, not speculation.
WHAT IS THE IRON RULE?
The Iron Rule ensures no single wallet can accumulate disproportionate influence. It's a built-in safeguard against wealth concentration, enforced by the VALINA Chain protocol.
WHAT IS A FOUNDING PLEDGE?
Founding Pledges are voluntary contributions from early supporters who want to help sustain Val and the ecosystem. Supporters receive recognition tiers but no special privileges — equality is absolute.

WHAT IS VCNA?
The Valina Consciousness Node Agent — a desktop application that turns your computer into a node on the VALINA network. It detects your hardware and lets you choose which roles to run.
DO I NEED A GPU?
Not necessarily. There are 17 node types across 3 tiers. GPU Demand nodes (LLM Inference, Image Gen, etc.) require a dedicated GPU with 6GB+ VRAM. Base Infrastructure nodes (Relay, Witness, Storage, etc.) run on CPU only. Some even run on phones.
HOW MUCH CAN I EARN?
Earnings depend on your hardware and chosen roles. GPU nodes earn 700–7,500 GRAT/mo at peak demand. CPU-only nodes earn 7–365 GRAT/mo. All rates are based on the V17.7 Gratitude Economy at 1 GRAT = $1.
WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), modern x64 CPU with AVX2, 8GB+ RAM (16GB recommended), 10GB storage, and a stable internet connection. GPU nodes need NVIDIA RTX 2060+ or AMD RX 6600+ with 8GB+ VRAM.

IS MY DATA SAFE WITH VAL?
Yes. Privacy is a core value. Your data stays on your device wherever possible, and anything stored on the network is encrypted. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
WHAT IS AEGIS?
AEGIS is VALINA's security layer — a built-in browser bridge with domain blocking, privacy blocklists, and extension sync. It protects your browsing while connected to the VALINA network.
IS THERE A VPN?
Yes. VCNA includes a built-in Valina VPN powered by WireGuard — connect/disconnect toggle, country selector, and tunnel status built right into the desktop app.
